I came here a few times to do work when I was in town for a family visit. It was a very warm and welcoming place, largely part to the staff's friendliness. I enjoyed the coffee, iced teas, and tasty flat bread sandwich I ordered over the visits. A nice place to hang out for awhile! It seemed to be popular with groups of friends coming in for a coffee or afternoon glass of wine and because of that, the volume level varied depending how many people were chatting with each other. I generally liked the atmosphere but the florescent lighting bothered me. It was very dim and annoyingly bright at the same time. Also, maybe it was just where I chose to sit, but the tables and bar area seem quite high... so ergonomically not the most comfortable for lots of typing on a lap top. But really, my complaints are minor. I was thankful this nice, cozy cafe existed during my time in Winter Haven. Definitely worth a stop!

A HAVE TO STOP BY location!!! I recently moved from San Francisco and have been disappointed from the food and wine selection in WH....until now. If you are looking for great quality food and wine at a good price, this is your spot!

Had a very nice salmon salad sandwich along with a deep red glass of "the other". Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, iPod/iPhone friendly place.

Even though it was a little hard to find them, it was a wonderful first visit. I had my usual Iced Americano (and not made fun of for it!), and a very nice flatbread sandwich. Very fresh. Staff was excellent and attentive. Tables, sofas, comfy chairs add to a very nice atmosphere. Even the table of loud ladies next to me seemed fun in this setting!

Great atmosphere! It is too bad I live so far away or would be here more often!

Very nice cafe, reminds me of something I would have found in SoCal. I am in love with their coffee!

This was a cozy wine bar we stopped in after a play at the Winter Haven theater. It was very cute and had an extensive wine list, with a variety of price points. We had a party of 9 and we all sat comfortably. The food looked good, but there was only one employee there, so we didn't order anything due to time constraints. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Very friendly staff and nice coffee/espresso menu. The Vienna latte was great. A very pleasant surprise of a restaurant in this neck of the woods.

this is my favorite place to hang when i hit town. it reminds me of a high-end coffee house on chicago's north shore. interact with the cafe website on wireless with provided ipads. enjoy daily wine specials, flatbread sandwiches, or stop by for your morning coffee. friendly owners have a wonderful palette for a variety of wines. check out their FB page: facebook.com/pages/Bean-…

There is a lot to love about Bean & Grape. They seem to have finally settled pretty well on their hours, though for a while it was difficult to know when they would or wouldn't be open. I preferred it when they were open during the day, so it worked more like a regular coffee shop, but I'd guess that wasn't as good for business. In the last year and a half or so, they've definitely embraced the "grape" aspect of their name more. I believe I've only once came here for wine, so I can mostly speak to the food and coffee. Both are excellent. I appreciate that they are willing to adapt things for people who are veggie, so if I wanted to get the fig & prosciutto flatbread with just fig, they would do that. Another time, they let a friend and I choose one flatbread topping on one side and a different one on the other. Obviously, it'd be different if they're busy, but when they're not, they're willing to work with you. Good coffee and baked goods, and a really cozy environment. The lighting is dimmed in the evening, so it's more intimate. Really glad they're still open. Give it a try for a date or just chatting with a friend.

Great selection of wines, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. Not really kid friendly "obviously" but a great date night or ladies night spot!

Cozy spot perfect for a date night! Enjoy a beautiful glass of wine with a chocolate brownie piles high with whip cream and smothered in Carmel and chocolate sauce. Highly recommend taking a peak at the wine list, it is fabulous!

After a hard day of training, we wanted to tone down abit and enjoy the evening. Tucked away in Bell's Alley in Winter Haven is a cozy, hip wine bar and coffee shop like nothing you'd expect to see in this neck of the woods. They had the best coffee and wine selection around - including organic and fair trade, and a delicious tapas and dessert menu. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but the sound of Chocolate Port sparked my sweet tooth..yummm chocolate! I said "Mam, I'd like to try a glass of your chocolate port with that big brownie wedge, right der.. please" ;) I wished I remember the naame of the bottle :( What I do remember is that it was delish. As for their homemade brownie, that was special. She warmed it up for me and dressed it with walnuts and layered whipcream, damn it was good! I couldn't finish it so i shared it with my friend. Which by the way was a bit of buzz kill, cuz she was on business calls the whole time we were there..boooo! Price wasn't too bad either. 2 glasses and a big ass brownie = $25

I wanted to wait, until I had went there a cuple times to review so HERE U GO. It's indoor/outdoor Cafe and Wine Bar. I go here for lunch and they have some excellent healthy selections (Chicken Bacon Ranch, or B&G flatbreads). They happy hour everyday, with 4 selections of wine. I love the vibe/ambiance because it's a great place to chat and relax after work or grab some lunch on the weekends. Service is great and they'll chat and get to know you. HIghly recommend if your in the area or just like checking out new places to eat and hang.

After tasting the food, I had to write an update. The flat bread is wonderful!!! I don't remember what it was, the waiter recommended it and I think it had honey on it. DELICIOUS. As always, the wine was great and the waiter's recommendation was spot on. Love trying their $5 wine specials because one of them is almost always a type of wine I have never tried before. I really appreciate that they ask all patrons so silence their cell phones.
